May Day Campaign

For May Day 2025, theater company Flying Leap Productions partnered with SEIU members in Seattle and Chicago to create powerful visual statements celebrating immigrant workers and the labor movement.Through creative arts workshops, workers explored migration and identity using theater games, art-making, and collaborative puppet building.

Flying Leap came to Broad Strokes requesting content creation and social media management during the campaign.

Instagram Management and Content Creation

16 feed posts and 30+ Instagram Stories were produced during the campaign period.​

All 7 participating union locals actively shared campaign content.

​

Participation:

  • 43 workers engaged across workshops

  • 75 total participants (including staff and family)

  • 28 artists/technicians paid living wages
